Care home in Buckinghamshire - Kingfishers Nursing Home - Premium Care Group

About Karen…

I began my career at Kings College Hospital in south London and have been a registered nurse for over 30 years. I have worked in many specialities across care settings including large NHS trusts, hospices, and care homes. Whilst working in large London hospital trusts, I became a lead clinical nurse specialist focussing initially on cancer and haematology, then palliative and end of life care. I have also been the director of patient services at several hospices and managed care homes of various sizes.

My aim has always been to provide person-centred, compassionate care to both residents and their relatives, recognise everyone as an individual and support the whole team to deliver excellence every day.

At Kingfishers Care Home, we pride ourselves on promoting independence and enabling our residents to live their lives fully. I am delighted to be working alongside such a friendly, dedicated team who are passionate about going the extra mile at every opportunity.

I hope you will pop in to say hello, enjoy our beautiful garden and maybe even sample our home cooking. We always welcome the chance to show off how wonderful life at Kingfishers Care Home is!
